Funerals
Most of us at some stage in our lives lose someone we love. It can be a painful and diminishing experience leaving us overwhelmed and uncertain about the future. Sometimes it falls to us to arrange a funeral service. This can be a demanding task because there are many factors to take into consideration. We desire to do the right thing without necessarily knowing what that entails.
All Saints is always ready to offer support and guidance, whether or not the funeral takes place here. It may help to know that a funeral in church can be arranged for anyone who would like to hold a service here. There is no requirement for baptism or church attendance.
A funeral in church provides an opportunity to remember, give thanks and mourn and to find comfort, consolation and courage within a building dedicated to faith, hope and love.
If you are experiencing grief and would appreciate an opportunity to talk or if you would like to find out more about how to arrange a funeral, please contact Lorna on the Contact Page and also find the Church of England Funerals website useful to you.
