Branston All Saints Food Bank

Branston, Branston Booths, and Mere now have their emergency food bank.

It is based in the vestry of All Saints Church on Church Road and is open for donations from 10.00 to 11.00 am Tuesday, Thursday , and Friday.

The food bank is being staffed by volunteers from Branston Support Group.

Needing emergency food supplies

If you need an emergency supply of food, please get in touch:

Please do not come to the food bank to collect supplies – one of the volunteers will deliver them to your home. Our volunteers will carry an ID and wear high viz vests. They are all adults and have been DBS checked.

Please let us know if you or anyone else in your household has any food allergies.

  • Open Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 10.00 am to 11.00 am

Food donations

  • Please make sure your donations are in date – we cannot use out-of-date food

  • We cannot take food if the packaging has been opened or damaged

  • We cannot take frozen or chilled food

  • We need tinned or dry food that will last and that is easy and quick to prepare

  • Tins of fruit / rice pudding / custard

  • Tinned hot dogs / meatballs / stews / curries

  • Tinned corned beef / ham

  • Jam / honey / other spreads to make sandwiches

  • Tinned tuna / other fish

  • Corned beef / spam

  • Pasta / rice

  • Pasta sauces

  • Breakfast cereals

  • Semi-skimmed long-life milk

  • Sweet biscuits

  • Small jars of coffee / packs of tea
